My name is Jessie-Lee, and I walk many paths… sometimes all at once. I’m a homeschooling mama of four wild-hearted kids, a lifelong student of the stars and stories, and the artist behind the lens, and the words,  at Lunar Grove Studio. My world is a blend of parenting and potion-making, tea and tarot, fairy lights and final edits. It’s beautifully messy and deeply magical… just how I like it.

As a mother, I’ve built a home that is both classroom and cauldron. We follow the rhythms of nature, celebrate the turning of the Wheel, and learn through wonder. I believe education is sacred, whether it’s a child learning to read or an adult reclaiming their voice, and I try to live that belief each day by growing right alongside my children.

As an author and storyteller, I write the kinds of stories I always longed to find, rich with emotion, shadow, longing, and myth. Stories that linger. Stories that hold teeth and tenderness in equal measure. Writing is another form of spellwork for me, a way of weaving truth, magic, and transformation into something that can be held, revisited, and lived inside. Each book I write is an extension of the Grove, a doorway into my mind and my becoming.

As a certified spiritual educator, course creator, and the founder of Cognatus Spiritus Paganus Academy, I offer accessible magical education for families and soul-seekers alike. My courses, workshops, and homeschool resources are rooted in lived experience, holistic learning, and a fierce love for community growth. You’ll find me teaching everything from ritual creation and lunar cycles to mindful parenting, shadow work, and curriculum design.

As an artist, I create photography that feels like a spell, crafted with intention, emotion, and story. My sessions blend fantasy, empowerment, and soul connection. Whether it’s a creative portrait in a custom-built set, a transformative boudoir session, or an artistic collaboration that brings someone’s inner world to life, I’m here to capture not just how you look, but who you are becoming.

As a witch, I move through life with reverence and curiosity. I keep crystals and candles by my coffee. I whisper affirmations while folding laundry. I believe in the magic of small moments, sacred rituals, and the way the moon calls us home to ourselves. Through my spell kits, oracle decks, written works, and magical offerings in the Lunar Grove Shop, I offer gentle tools to help others connect to their own path, especially in the messy, beautiful in-between places.

I’m often asked why I do this work... why photography, why magic, why stories, why now?

The truth is… I was called to it.

Not all at once, but in soft echoes: a client wiping tears after a session, a reader reaching out to say a story stayed with them, a mother thanking me for a ritual that brought her peace, a student finding their footing in a spiritual lesson, a moment where the light hit just right and reminded me that this life is a blessing.

Everything I create, through the lens, the page, or a whispered spell, is part of a bigger story: one of reclamation, connection, and becoming. I believe we are all works of art in progress, and we all deserve to feel seen, held, and honored along the way.

This is the heart of Lunar Grove.
This is the path I’ve chosen.

A Few Fun Facts:

• I start every day with strong coffee or tea (sometimes both).
• I narrate my life with made-up songs like a chaotic bard (think Linda from Bob’s Burgers).
• Thunderstorms, bonfires, and horror movies? Yes please.
• I prefer moonlight over sunlight and books over parties.
• I talk to plants, name inanimate objects, and firmly believe my cat is my familiar.
• My house is half homeschool hub, half photography set, and 100% a little bit haunted (in the best way).
• I always leave room for magic… even on Mondays.
